It won't be long before we see this bad boy without camouflage and you can see it right next to us.

People really, really care about the Chevrolet Corvette. Not only the new one because it has a mid-mounted engine and all that but through history. It's not called America's sports car for nothing.

That's why we were pretty psyched when Chevrolet announced its plan to livestream the entire information event on Monday so you don't have to be at the California event to see it. The Corvette is a car of the people and it must be the people who get to see it right next to us, also for fancy-for-our-britches car journalists. Right? Right.

"There is a huge contingent of Corvette fans around the world waiting to be revealed by Next Generation," said Barry Engle, Executive VP and GM President in America. "We are happy to give these fans and all sports car enthusiasts a way to see and learn about the vehicle at the same time as those who attend California."

The Life Stream, scheduled for July 1

8th at 7:00 pm. 30 PT will be shared on a special GM media site (no login required) and throughout Chevrolet's various social media. Although the actual disclosure event is not publicly available, GM is planning to take its new technological terror on a tour of Chevy dealers across the United States.

Specific dates and places of the trip are expected to be announced the day after the car's official debut.
