There are some bad news for fans of "The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles. WWE announced late Monday afternoon that the former WWE champion would be involved in a 4-way # 1 contest with The Miz, Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin for a shot at Seth Rollins' Universal Championship on the upcoming Super ShowDown arrangement. But early Monday's Raw broadcast commentator Michael Cole claimed Styles had been withdrawn from the match due to injury and would be replaced by Baron Corbin.

No word yet, if Styles & # 39; damage is legitimate or just a part of a story. Based on his tweet just two hours before the announcement, Styles seemed to be under the impression that he would break.

Later in the show, Styles was seen in the back of a coaching room. He explained in an interview that he felt a pop in the back during his Universal Championship match with Rollins back on the money in the bank and that it still bothered him entering Raw that evening. Before he could say how long he would be out of action, Corbin came up and hit styles with a blow.

Corbin continued to win the four-way No. 1 contestant later in At night, Pinning Miz hit him at the end of days. Although the fight was listed as an elimination battle, Strowman and Lashley were removed from the match as they brawled through the crowd to the backstage area.
