After restoring his alma mater back to his winning ways in just five seasons, Carolyn Kieger Marquette looked smart to give the then 30-year-old his first leader coaching opportunity.
Now, Penn State has decided to associate with the growing talent that Kieger, several sources have told High Post Hoops, hopes she can copy her success at Marquette in State College.

Kieger leaves Marquette with a 99-64 (56-34) record with three consecutive NCAA tournaments and a 2-3 record in the tournament. This past season, the team went 27-8 and climbed into the AP Top 10 for the first time in the history of the school.
Penn State completed the 2018-19 season with a 12-19 (5-13) record. Kieger only becomes the third coach at the school since 1980.
