If we are honest here, the gradual Dad by Will Smith has been something beautiful to see as the former sitcom star and hotshot action smartass have gradually evolved into the kind of corny-but-lovable guy who could release a fatal imitation of his own son's music videos one day, then let go of hanging out with him in the middle of his big Coachella set next. (Still, he juggles his time between his own social media commitments and his big blue brand of Hollywood superstar.)
What exactly is what Smith did last night, lending his support to his son Jaden for a couple of pillars in his tracks " Icon "during his set at the massive music festival, and presumably, all the joyful Nick At Nite fans are lurking somewhere in the audience. It is not exactly a fresh freshwater trail – which is fine, really, given how self-reliant some of Smith's recent musical experiments have been. The appeal, as is so often the case with this particular family, is really just about seeing how much fun Smith and Jaden seem to have with each other, the kind of goofy family home movie that just happens to have been shot at a big stage surrounded by hundreds of cheering fans. You know what you do.
