AMD is ready to start its new year with a taste of an event. The event will focus on virtual keys from top executives in each company, and AMD’s key will be hosted by CEO, Lisa Su. The event is scheduled to premiere in 1 hour at. 9:00 (PST) sharp.
AMD’s President and CEO Dr. Lisa Su will give the keynote address at CES 2021 and present AMD’s vision for the future in research, education, work, entertainment and gaming, including a portfolio of high-performance computing and graphics solutions.
Dr. Lisa SuDr. Lisa Su has held the position of President and CEO since October 2014, and she sits on AMD’s Board of Directors.
In 2014, Dr. Su CEO with responsibility for integrating AMD’s business units, sales, global operations and infrastructure activation teams into a single market-oriented organization responsible for product strategy and execution.
Dr. Su joined AMD in January 2012 as senior vice president and general manager, global business entities, and was responsible for conducting end-to-end business execution of AMD products and solutions.

As for the event itself, AMD is expected to deliver a series of announcements. No specific product is mentioned, but we can expect a few if high-performance launches from AMD. The first and most obvious is the AMD Ryzen 5000 mobility setups codenamed Cezanne and Lucienne. These will be based on the Zen 3 and Zen 2 update core architecture and provide faster performance in the mobility segment.
We can also expect AMD to unveil its next generation of RDNA 2-based Radeon RX 6700 series family, which will bring the Navi 2X into the mainstream segment and be placed directly against similar RTX 3060 Ti and below.
