Warriors’ Draymond Green shot out in the 1st half vs. Knicks

Warriors striker Draymond Green was pushed out late in the first half of Thursday night’s game against the Knicks.

With 1:04 left in the second quarter and Golden State after 60-55, Green, 30, appeared to be yelling at center James Wiseman when he was assessed as a technical foul. It was his second in the game, resulting in his immediate exhaust.

As Green walked toward the sideline, Warriors coaches disputed the call, trying to point out that Green had spoken to Wiseman – not a referee.

With Green now out, Golden State must provide its defensive intensity, playmaking ability and directives in court. In the 1

7 minutes before Green was thrown, Green had three points and eight assists.

At the break, the Warriors drove after the Knicks, 63-57.
