Two employees in an Atlanta area Waffle House have been fired after being seen in a video that put food on a damned customer and made him seem to dance.
The video sent to Instagram shows workers in a waffle house in Lithonia, Georgia, where salt, a piece of cheese and ketchup were put on a man's head resting on the counter. The clip also shows a person who grabs the men's arms and makes him dance.
The customer filed a police report with DeKalb County Police Department on January 7 for a simple battery.
He told the police that he was "heavily drunk" when Waffle House employees harassed him, according to the report. He said the workers "took his arms and played with them as if he were a doll."
He also told the police that he found the video on the internet and was "very embarrassed."
Waffle House announced the cancellation of the employees involved in the incident on January 2 last week.
"We've been in touch with the customer and have apologized," said Waffle House spokesman Pat Warner in a statement. "When we learned about this event, we launched a survey and completed the employees involved."
