Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) – In a nail piece of a game, Tennis's basketball team managed to draw a overtime win against rival Vanderbilt. The result was 88-83.
The game started strong for Tennessee, the team jumped out to a 13 point, 15-2 led, but saw Vandy rally on the strength of the clutch outside shoot to pull on within a point of 38-37 in half time.
Vanderbilt returns Tennessee 59-57 with 7:54.
Commodores have shot 7/12 from outside in the game.
Everything that goes in for Tennessee leads aggressively to a mistake. No easy shot. Vandy forces Vols to earn it on the free throw strip.

Commodores would continue their clutch shooting in the second half while the Volts started fighting from the floor. Vanderbilt, who entered the game winless in the SEC of 0-5, would take a lead of 70-65.
Tennessee would hang hard behind the inspired game of junior standout Grant Williams to draw within two points of 72-70 with just over two minutes to play.
The regulation game ended with a tied score of 76-76, whereby the game entered overtime where Vols ended with a fierce victory.
