Madison (WKOW) – University of Wisconsin Athletics Department released the following statement on Sunday morning at the accident that injured men's basketball coach Howard Moore and his son and killed Moore's wife and daughter at the weekend:
"Early Saturday morning, University of Wisconsin athletic department learned from a tragic car accident in Michigan involving assistant men's basketball coach Howard Moore and his family, we were deeply sad to learn from the transition to Howard's wife, Jennifer, and their daughter Jaidyn, Howard and his son, Jerell, both Badger but expected to recover
Badger's athletic community is a tight family and Howard has been a great ambassador for Wisconsin for almost 30 years, dating back to days as a UW student athlete. and we as a community will support and lift the whole of Moore and Children's families.
& # 39; There is no word to describe how devastated we are to Howard and his family ie, the main feature Greg Gard said. & # 39; Our basketball program is an extremely close family, and we all care for Moore and Children's families. Howard is so much more than a colleague and trainer. He and Jen and their children are dear friends for all those meetings. Their positivity and energy lift them around them.
