Jan 25 (Reuters) – US stocks were open on Friday, as optimistic corporate earnings helped curb global economic growth concerns, US government settlement and US trade negotiations uncertainty.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 133.97 points, or 0.55 percent, open to 24,687.21. S & P 500 opened higher with 15.11 points or 0.57 percent at 2,657.44.
