DENVER – US Bank significantly reduces its physical footprint in Colorado.
Thursday hours after BusinessDen reported, the company had closed its branch in 1625 N. Broadway, the US-based US bank, said it was closing a total of 26 branches in the state.
Nineteen of these branches are in what the company considers the Denver market.
On June 30, the U.S. bank had 72 branches in the Denver metro area and 136 in the state, according to the FDIC. If you go beyond the total number, the closures only shyly make up 20 percent of the company’s branches.
In addition to 1625 N. Broadway, local closures also include the branch at 1660 Wynkoop St., opposite Union Station. It will reduce the company’s branch in downtown Denver to a: 950 17th St.
