Virginia Department of Transportation warns that Monday morning pendulum may be challenging.
"VDOT is asking drivers to be aware of a possible mix of snow, gossip and freezing rain," said the agency on Sunday afternoon. "Crews have brown roads that will help at the onset of the storm, but drivers are asked to prepare now for influence at the morning rate. Crews will take place along roads beginning this afternoon."
