Two people injured in gunfire at Southcenter Mall in Tukwila



Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area.

TUKWILA, Wash. Two people were injured in a shooting at Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, according to Tukwila Police.

According to a Tukwila police spokesman, police are still searching for the suspect.

Police are asking people who are protected in place to stay where they are until officers can reach them.

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) closed all exits from I-5 and 405 to Southcenter Mall due to the investigation, according to WSP Trooper Rick Johnson.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area.

Police say more information will be shared when it becomes available.
