Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Tab S5e ($ 399 +), a tablet that is a thinner, lighter and cheaper version of the company's flagship Galaxy Tab S4 ($ 649 +). The interesting thing about the Galaxy Tab S5e is that for about half the price you would think it would be a much worse tablet than Tab S4. But it is not.
Tab S5e and Tab S4 have the same size 10.5-inch screen, but Tab S5e has a slightly better screen-body ratio – which means thinner features. They have the same camera systems (same photo and video skills) and the same AKG tuned speakers. And thanks to the Samsung DeX software, which is baked in Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Tab S4, you can connect the Tab S5e to an external monitor and use it more like a desktop computer (split apps across two monitors).
There is a big difference between Tab S5e and Tab S4 ̵
The S5e tab will be available from Q2.
