CLEVELAND – An American Airlines flight to Cleveland on Saturday afternoon had a frightening setback after the windshield shattered the center flight, according to American Airlines and TMZ.
The flight, which departed from O’Hare International Airport in Chicago around noon. 13.30, was in the air for about 30 minutes before a mechanical problem occurred with the windshield and forced the flight to return to the airport, American Airlines said.
American Airlines said the plane landed safely and taxied to the port without incident, and after changing planes, they returned to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
No injuries to customers or crew members were reported, American Airlines said.
