"It will send a very bad message to not only Huawei but also to Chinese companies," ambassador Liu Xiaoming told the BBC. He added that blocking Huawei would lead to "bad effects not only on trade but also on investment."
Britain's National Security Council, chairman of Prime Minister Theresa May, met to discuss Huawei in April, and it was decided to block Huawei from all key parts of the 5G network, but to give it limited access to the non-core share.
A final decision of the senior minister's British cabinet is due to happen in recent weeks, but corn's promise to go down as Prime Minister has stopped the process, sources say. She is expected to be out of office by the end of July.
