A chase ended after about two hours when the driver crashed into a large rig in Pomona on Tuesday night.
The hunt went through the Riverside and Jurupa Valley, then the road through the San Gabriel Valley and Diamond Bar. The vehicle drove through Pomona around noon. 18.15, when Sky5 arrived over the hunt.
At least six sheriff’s patrol units chase the pickup.
The car was driving in the opposite direction of traffic in the area around Holt Avenue and was driving through red lights.
The driver came in at least one collision on the surface streets of Pomona and then continued on.
The pickup took the road to La Verne around noon. 18.30 and then back to a residential area in Pomona.
The car came on a sidewalk for a few seconds and turned right.

The pickup went into a parking lot in a mall in the Paloma Drive and Holt Avenue area and hit another truck and then continued. The driver then returned to the same parking lot minutes later, drove through it and then left the driveway.
Immediately after the exit, the car turned onto the street when it crashed into a semi-truck just before noon. 19 in the San Antonio Avenue area.
The vehicle’s airbags appeared to be deployed and a passenger was seen hanging with his arms and head out the window.
The driver eventually got out of the car and crawled toward deputies. Both the driver and the passenger were taken into custody.
