The Broncos have found their new GM.
According to several reports, George Paton and the Broncos have agreed terms on a deal that makes Paton Denver general manager.
The Denver GM job opened up when John Elway stepped down from day-to-day staff work, though Elway will continue to oversee the Broncos’ front office.
Paton has spent 14 seasons with the Vikings and worked as an assistant general manager under Rick Spielman. He has also spent time with bears and dolphins. Now Paton will start turning over a Denver team that has not been in the playoffs since Peyton Manning retired.
