Tech Magnate leaves San Francisco for Florida

In the latest signs of financial problems for Silicon Valley, Bay Area tech entrepreneur Keith Rabois is leaving San Francisco for the state of Florida.

“I think San Francisco is just so massively wrong and mismanaged that it’s impossible to stay here,” Rabois told Fortune magazine.

Rabois is a startup manager for similar companies like PayPal, Square and LinkedIn. He “moves instantly” from the area and finds it “impossible to stay” after calling it home for two decades, according to the report.

“COVID kind of masks these things,” he added to Fortune. “It̵

7;s not as obvious where people move to and if they’s actually moved, since everyone works remotely.”

Rebois’ Twitter stream is filled with retweets from the emigration and snarky comments reprimanding San Francisco.
