A suspect is in custody in connection with this week's slaying of the recognized gambino mob boss Francesco "Franky Boy" Cali outside his Staten Island home, a report said Saturday.
The suspect, described only as a white man and Staten Island resident, has been questioned on connection with Wednesday night shooting, according to Staten Island Advance, citing sources.
Cali, 53, was shot several times in front of his brick mansion in the opulent Todt Hill neighborhood at about 9am. 20.00 His wife and young children were inside, police sources told the post.
He shook hands with the slider before he was killed, a source said.
