WINTER STORM WARNING still in force this morning too much of northern Michigan … and there is a winning guide for counties south of US Highway 10. The warning and advice will end at various times this morning … depending on which amt you are in.
Today we see the recurring end of the winter storm moving east. Throughout the day it will be out of our area, but this morning we still have snowfall. The total today will be up to 2 or 3 inches … but not as much as yesterday. Wind can blow to 25 mph at times this morning … facing northwest. Heights 16-19 in the Upper Peninsula … and 16-26 in Lower Peninsula. Overcast much of the day, but in the late afternoon a little sun could break through the clouds west of I-75.
Tonight it will be mostly cloudy. Make 1
Thursday gets a little warmer. Heights 26 to 42 degrees. We get to see some snow showers, but with the warmer temperatures you can sometimes see a little rain. Wind will be 5-15 mph mainly from the south.
Friday's heights 20 to 26 degrees. Scattered snow showers. Wind will pick up and gusts to 25 mph at times.
The weekend looks like a good time to travel or get outside. Both Saturday and Sunday will be partly sunny. Height every day will vary from 18 to 28 degrees. You can see a light snow shower, but most of us in northern Michigan don't even see snow.
