Stardew Valley gets Splitscreen Co-Op in the upcoming version 1.5 update

Stardew Valley

, in its upcoming version 1.5 update, adds splitscreen co-op to both console and PC. Announced by Eric Barone, creator of Stardew Valley, there will be up to 4-player split-screen co-op on PC, but “on some other platforms it may be limited to 2.”

This update also allows players to move their bed, and Barone teased a peaceful scene on a beach with a player fishing and ducks hanging around.

Online multiplayer was added to Stardew Valley starting in 2018, and this new update gives players even more opportunities to play one of our 11 soothing games to help you relax together.

Although Barone continues to update Stardew Valley, which was originally released in 2016, he has started teasing his next two games, which are still a bit of roads away. One of them is said to take place in the Stardew Valley world, but is not an agricultural game, and the other is said to bind itself into the game in some way.

We reviewed Stardew Valley again in 2018 and said it’s a beautiful, fun game that, when all its parts are pulled together, creates a wonderful nature adventure. Whether it’s rainy, sunny, snowy or dusty with pollen running through the air , every day offers an abundance of great activities ready to be gathered or mastered and new friendships waiting to be made.Even 100 hours with three years in the game in the books, I still feel like I have so many mysteries to discover and lots of items to collect. “
