CNET's Sean Keane calls the movie "Virtually the Perfect Avengers: Endgame Epilogue – reminds us that the MCU continues in a happy, emotionally satisfying turn."
Brandon Davis, from the CNET sister site ComicBook.com, also rages about the movie and teases it is "big in itself and For the future of the MCUs one in the most surprising ways. "
Davis also invited viewers to remain through the film's final credits for a few "brilliant sequences".
Other critics repeated similar thoughts. Writer Mike Ryan notes that the film explains the post-Endgame universe in a smart way.
And Kevin Ryan has praise for both Tom Holland and Spider-Man ("Best Spidey to date") and co-star Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio. ("Gyllenhaal is amazing.")
Singer Zendaya also earned praise for his role as MJ. "Zendaya's MJ is as cool as Shuri," wrote Brian Truitt, who of course referred to Black Panther's tech genius sister.
Look better at your theater offering a kind of season ticket, because many critics note that this is the kind of movie to be seen more than once.
You really need to have X-ray vision (sorry wrong universe) to find some negative remarks or constructive criticism. Angie J. Han of Mashable suggested that the movie "might have become harder on (Peter's) emotional bow."
And Ben Pearson notes that "some of the comedy falls flat" but calls it the aspect of the movie "ultimately beneficial because it too mostly distracts from things that do not land as well. "
