If you have spent the day playing through Persona 5 Strikers and noted the voice of the digital assistant in the game sounded familiar, it is probably because it is played by the original voice of Siri (via Kotaku). Susan Bennett originally provided the voice for Apple’s digital assistant, and now she’s playing EMMA, AI in the game.

If you ask your iPhone for directions to the nearest camping store, you may notice that its answer does not sound exactly like the game. This is because while Bennett was the original voice for Siri when it debuted with the iPhone 4S running iOS 5 (although Siri technically existed with Bennett̵
Type form has an interview with Bennett about how she became the voice of Siri and it includes lots of voice recordings from her that you can compare to her work in Strikes. You can also see Apple’s ad introducing Siri on the iPhone 4S to get a sense of what Siri sounded like back then, if its current iteration has overwritten those memories.
