The second episode of fourteen episode second season of Star Trek: Discovery released tomorrow, Thursday, January 24. It's called "New Eden" and now we know what the next four episodes titles.
Episodes 3-6 of Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 few titles
CBS has not yet officially revealed episodes titles for any episodes beyond tomorrow's "New Eden" but because of the series also Airing in Canada at the Space Cable Network, titles are available to watch in regular TV listings. The following titles come from the TV Passport TV list (first seen by Trek Collective). We've added some of our thoughts on the titles along with matching some previously released official images with their episodes.
Episode 3: "Point of Light" (January 31
The light point referred to in the title can simply refer to one of the seven red outbreaks that are the core mysteries of the second season. It can also be a reference to the Boreth planet, where Klingon monks await Kahless's return. Kahless is fabled for saying "Look for me there, at the point of light" that he pointed to the star of the Boreth system. From the one publicity image released, we know that this episode will include Michelle Yeoh as the unspoken Terran emperor Georgiou, now working for Section 31. Her costume indicates she will work undercover on Qo & # 39; noS, Klingon homeworld. It is therefore likely that this episode will also include Mary Chieffo as high chancellor Rell and Shazad Latif as Tyler.
Episode 4: "An Obol for Charon" (February 7)
"Charon's obol" is a sentence for a ritual where one coin is placed in the deceased person's mouth by ancient Greeks and Romans. The coin was to pay Charon, the ferry man who would convey the souls of the underworld. The title implies that someone could die in the episode. We also know from the two available publicity stills that this episode will include Rebecca Romijn in the role of number one, suggesting that USS Discovery may be rendezvous with the USS Enterprise.
Episode 5: "Unholy Saints" (14. February)
No real trace of the episode is stated from the title, except that it fits into the spiritual aspect of the season's theme of science against faith. We know that this episode will include Michelle Yeoh again, and aboard the USS Discovery, disguised as Captain Phillipa Georgiou.
Episode 6: "Thunder Sounds" (February 21)
Your Guess is as good as ours for this title. There is a Ray Bradbury story entitled "A Sound of Thunder" which is a time travel story. And without official images released so far, episode 6 will remain a little more a mystery for now. CBS has released a picture of episode 7 with Ethan Peck as Spock, possibly indicating the seventh episode of season two, having the first appearance of the adult Spock for the season.
Warning: Since the above titles have not yet been confirmed by CBS, there is the possibility that this is not the final titles. Before CBS began announcing titles in advance in the middle and later parts of the first season, Canadian TV listings appeared accurate, and the title of episode 3 on TVPassport ("Point of Light") matches the title to episode 3 in the official space. ca website.
Trailers for the season primarily use recordings from early episodes, especially season two prizes ("Brother"). Then you can now see the three trailers again and use the process of removing elements from "Brother" along with matching the above images to their episodes, and now they can give some more insights into the upcoming episodes.
