It seems that we have more evidence that a new Samsung smartwatch comes in after the details of a device with a well-known model number have been cleared by the FCC.
Normally, when something comes up, it's a pretty big indication that a disclosure or launch is nearing the US. The Product ID document mentions the SMR500 model number that we have heard in previous leaks associated with a watch speculated to be codenamed Pulse internally by Samsung and could eventually be called Samsung Galaxy Sport when it is officially revealed.

As for speculation about what this new watch, which may or may not be called Samsung Galaxy Sport, will do, original rumors indicate that it will include enhanced Bixby smart assistant skills , new sports tracking features and maybe even some serious health monitoring hardware.
Renders (above) based on factory data and third parties on the new watch seems to suggest that Samsung chooses a minimalist look with two buttons. Nor does it appear to be signs of the signature rotating edge. Could Samsung really think of dumping this important feature. We hope not.
When we see this new Samsung smartwatch, the Korean company has already announced a unpacked event in February where we expect to be focused on its next flagship Galaxy smartphone. Maybe it will be joined by a laptop too. Mobile World Congress is also not far away. We may not have to wait too long to find out what Samsung has in store for us, it seems.
