Rudy Giuliani has dismissed concerns that his latest anti-Biden smears are part of a foreign election intervention plan, but a Ukrainian lawmaker recently considered an “active Russian agent” by the US Treasury Department is now revealing further details, there comes.
Andrii Derkach, one of the key players in Giuliani’s long-standing trash mission against Joe Biden in Ukraine, backed up on the former New York mayor’s recent Biden smears – allegedly involving a forgotten laptop. Derkach claimed on Facebook that there is another “laptop”
The allegation appears to be muddying the waters around Giuliani’s latest accusation of “smoking gun” against Hunter Biden. He says they emerged after an obscure Delaware computer repair shop owner found Biden’s laptop in his possession and copied the hard drive before warning federal authorities and inexplicably Giuliani’s own lawyer. Now that Derkach is popping in with allegations of a “second laptop,” it will mean that private computer content allegedly linked to Hunter Biden has somehow found its way into the hands of three separate parties: A media empire controlled of a Chinese billionaire close to Steve Bannon; a casual Delaware store owner who is overt in his support for Trump; and Derkach, a Ukrainian conspiracy theorist who studied at Moscow’s FSB Academy.
Derkach wrote on Facebook about the questionable New York Post report that relied on unconfirmed images of emails provided by Trump allies to allegedly prove a corruption scheme by Biden and his son involving the Ukrainian gas company Burisma. He then said there was another laptop that was used by “two more representatives [Burisma founder Mykola] Zlochevsky. “
“The laptop was given to Ukrainian law enforcement,” Derkach wrote, adding that the Burisma representatives who used the laptop now served as “witnesses in criminal cases.” He said the witnesses were ready to testify about an international corruption scheme involving Biden and his son Hunter, who sat on the board of the gas company.
It has already been reported that Russian intelligence agents successfully hacked into Burisma computer networks last year, although it is not clear how much they were able to access and copy.
Despite what Team Trump would have the public believe is a towering mountain of evidence, neither Joe nor Hunter Biden have been charged with injustice, and Ukrainian prosecutors confirmed several months ago that they had found no evidence of any crimes.
Derkach is no newcomer to the Biden saga. While having fun with Trump allies like Giuliani under the prosecution, he held repeated press conferences in Kiev, claiming evidence of corruption by the former vice president, claiming that it was not Russia that interfered in the 2016 election, but Ukraine. He also played a prominent role in an “exposé” of the Trumpian One America News Network and met with Giuliani in Kiev last year as part of their anti-Biden mission. His claims have not kept up under control.
After Derkach was sanctioned by the US Treasury Department in September for working as a foreign operator, Giuliani insisted he had not seen “any evidence” to finally say whether Derkach worked as a Russian agent or not.
He told The Daily Beast this week that he thought it was a cast whether his partner in the Biden smear campaign was an active intelligence operator. “The chance that Derkach is a Russian spy is no better than 50/50,” he said.
But U.S. intelligence officials had begun warning in the spring of 2019 that Derkach was part of a Russian effort to sneak into the U.S. presidential election and spread the word that Biden and his son were involved in fake corruption schemes abroad.
Giuliani’s allegations against Biden have evolved drastically since he first began his attacks on Trumps then-supposed 2020 opponent by claiming that the former vice president wrongly forced a Ukrainian prosecutor out. After several “exposures” about Biden’s alleged abuse of power, which was broadcast on OAN, largely failed to gain much traction, Giuliani shifted his focus to Biden’s son, Hunter, whom he now considers a “national security risk.”
Bizart even has Giuliani’s accusations against the younger Biden pinballet everywhere, from his original claim that Hunter used access to his father to line his own pockets, to his very personal attack on his admitted struggle with drug abuse, and perhaps most desperately, his recent smear that Hunter Biden dealt with “disgusting sexual behavior.”
