<p>  The republican national committee charged $ 14.6 million in the month of May, revealing new information reflecting how the Republicans raise large sums of money prior to the 2020 summit. </p>

RNC's $ 14.6 million haul – which does not include any of Tru mps fundraising this week – bringing it over all fundraising for the year to $ 76 million. RNC spent $ 12.3 million in May and ended the month with $ 37 million in cash at hand.

A number of big-name Republican donors helped the RNC fill its boxes in May, including Oculus VR founder Palmer Luckey, who gave the committee $ 106,500. Marvel president Isaac Perlmutter and his wife, Laura, who gave the committee $ 213,000; and businessman Phil Ruffin, who gave the committee $ 14,300.

RNC paid close to a million dollars for the Parscale Strategy, the company affiliated with Trump's campaign leader Brad Parscale in May. It also paid more than one million dollars, an unusually high sum to four companies for reconciliation and counseling in May: WPAi, TargetPoint Consulting, Public Opinion Strategies and Grassroots Targeting.
