Riot Games has announced the first official tournament for its ranked League of Legends game mode Teamfight Tactics set to take place July 17-18. The competition will be hosted by Twitch Rivals, Twitch's influencer-based esports division
Sixty-four Twitch streamers will be invited to participate for a chance of winning the Teamfight Tactics Twitch Rivals championship title and a piece of the $ 125K prize pool. The full roster will be announced on July 8.
Audiences will be able to view the competition from the Twitch Rivals channel or via individual streamer channels.

Since Teamfight Tactics opened beta testing in June, it has produced 2M hours watched on Twitch every day since, and attracted popular influencers known to play strategy-based games like Hearthstone and Auto Chess
