In addition to closing the cavity Respawn also confirmed that the Omega Point Pathfinder skin provided through the Twitch Prime promotion would be removed from any account that obtained it through the alternative method.
The five Apex packages that were also included in the campaign were not mentioned in the update, meaning that all things that players received from these packages must remain in the player's accounts.
Fans who were thrilled to get the exclusive Pathfinder skin free will be very disappointed after this new update.
Considering the massive success of Apex Legend over the past few weeks, along with the exclusive nature of exclusive skins, it was not surprising to see many trying to play the system to obtain goods without paying for them.
The rather quick way in which Respawn dealt with the problem was to be a welcome view for players who feared that they could take a more passive approach to dealing with the various problems that would inevitably cut into the weeks and months.
With the latest reports on various hit boxes that can cause some Legends to be unfavorable to play, as all eyes will continue to be at Respawn as the launch of Season 1, the first major balancing pass is approaching fast.
