The Pittsburgh Steelers play the Baltimore Ravens Sunday, and it’s starting to sound like they haven’t started nickel-cornerback Mike Hilton for that road competition.
According to Getty Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Thursday night, the Steelers do not expect Hilton to be honorable enough to play Sunday against the Ravens as he continues to fight back from a shoulder injury he suffered during the team’s week 6 home game against the Cleveland Browns.
The Steelers are hopeful, but do not expect Nickel back Mike Hilton (shoulder) to play against the Ravens.

Hilton, who was listed as a limited practice player in the Steelers Thursday injury report, missed the team̵
The Steelers’ Friday injury report sheds much more light on Hilton’s status for Sunday’s game against the Ravens. It will be released after the team’s practice on Friday. If Hilton can not play against the Ravens, Sutton will likely replace him in sub-pack defense, and fellow cornerback Justin Layne will likely continue to be the extra defensive back when the Steelers use their dime pack.
Against the Titans in Week 7, Sutton played well instead of Hilton as he recorded four overall tackles and two defensive passes in the Steelers road victory.
