Roundabout Theater Company celebrates the opening of the Broadway revival of Sam Shepard's True West directed by James Macdonald, January 24. Ethan Hawke and Paul Dano star as two brothers held up in their mother's California house in Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-nominated drama, which includes Marylouise Burke and Gary Wilmes

Performances of True West began December 27, 2018 at the American Airlines Theater on Broadway.

True West debuted on Broadway in 2000 with stars John C. Reilly and Philip Seymour Hoffman swapping roles nightly. The production received four Tony Award nominations: nodes to both alternating stars, director Matthew Warchus and Best Play.

The Roundabout Broadway revival features a creative team that includes Mimi Lien (sets), Kaye Voyce (costumes), Jane Cox ( lights), Bray Poor (sound design), Tom Watson (hair and wedge design), and Jim Carnahan (casting).
