Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege (for PC)
$ 9.99on Ubisoft
may be heading to the Xbox Game Pass in the near future. The Xbox Game Pass on Twitter posted a medieval image without captions, but the image itself appears to be a tease for an upcoming announcement about Rainbow Six Siege, as it contains six rainbows and a siege weapon attacking a castle.
Ubisoft has already confirmed that Rainbow Six Siege would be on its way to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S with multiplayer across generation, so the timing of this unveiling could be good with the consoles just weeks away.
This move could also be a step closer to Rainbow Six Siege becoming free-to-play, which according to game director Leroy Athanassoff is something the development team would apparently want at some point.
Rainbow Six Siege, which makes it to the Xbox Game Pass, would also bring Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher back to the Microsoft console when he was recently added as an operator by the name of Codename Zero.
Rainbow Six Siege was released in 2015 and has been supported and improved a ton over the years. We reviewed the game again in 2018 and said “Rainbow Six Siege has grown into a much deeper competitive FPS that still rewards smart play as much as a good goal.”
