Dangerous storms, which have resulted in devastating tornadoes in the Midwest, go east.
The good thing is that storms do not become so severe when they arrive in the tristate area, but we are having an effortless day with occasional rainfall.
The wet weather pattern starts on Tuesday, May 28, on a predominantly cloudy and much cooler day, where the temperature stays stable at about 60 degrees.
Showers arrive after noon on Tuesday, with rainy seasons during the day and risk of thunderstorms after noon. until about midnight. Up to half an inch of rain is possible.
There is a chance for morning showers on Wednesday, May 29, which will be partly sunny. The high temperature will be low to low until the mid 70's.
Thursday, May 30 will be mostly cloudy and warmer with a high in the low 80s and a chance of rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon through the evening. Look for storms to arrive around noon.
Friday, May 3 becomes the most sunny with a high temperature in the mid 70's.
