Quickly, take a dip in the animal crossing before Nintendo fixes the bug

Animal Crossing New Horizons players have just discovered a new bug that lets them climb inside various objects including pools and bathtubs. The error quickly became popular and many gamers are asking Nintendo to leave it in the game.

The most common use of the new bug is to relax in the many inviting pools that have been in play since its launch. What may be the most surprising about this error is how good it looks once activated. You expect weird clips or broken animations. But instead, it just looks pretty much perfect, as if Nintendo had patched the ability to enter some objects that you could not previously sit in or interact with. (It does not have it.)

This new trick also allows you to crawl into almost any object you want. Some players use the error for create creepy images of their villagers coming out of a haunted well or just keeping their character in random objects.

The error seems to have been discovered earlier this month and videos that teach people how to pull it off on TikTok, YouTube and elsewhere. The error is quite simple to perform. You need a flat object. Place this object as a jigsaw puzzle near the edge of a rounded corner. Use a ladder to climb up to the object, then enter the tub or pool. And that’s it! You can send and hang out as long as you want, alone or with friends.

The bug is seen by many players as a useful way to create nicer screenshots and videos. It also provides several ways to interact with the elements of the game, something Crossing animals has always been missing. As a result of how useful it is, players ask Nintendo leaving the bug in the game or adding the ability to interact with pools and tubs in a similar way without a trick.

Knowing Nintendo this will not happen though. Enjoy your pools while you can!
