MANDAN, ND – Police responded to a medical call in a North Dakota company on Monday found "more" agencies, the authorities said.
The Mandan Police Department issued a three-sentence news announcement confirming that the officers had found "more people who were dead within" the company in the city about 22,000 just across the Missouri River west of Bismarck. The police did not say how many people were dead and did not immediately respond to a request for more details.
Morton County referred a request for comment to the City Police. The State Criminal Investigation Office confirmed that it helped help with the investigation, but did not offer any details.
Authorities did not identify the company, but police and Burleigh County Sheriff's Department Vehicles were grouped Monday at RJR Maintenance and Management. Bismarck Tribune reported that the company released a statement at. 9.30, saying it was closed Monday.
No one answered the phone at the company.
RJR's website identified it as a family-owned property management company that has handled commercial real estate and housing in Bismarck and Mandan for more than 20 years. Its services include collecting rent for landlords, mortgage payments, re-renting apartments, building and grounds maintenance, lawn care and snow removal. It also rents storage units.
The "Meet Our Team" function on the website depicts 22 employees.
