Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday launched a new policy and advocacy organization to promote “the last four years of pro-freedom policies” with an advisory board of nearly a dozen Trump-era alumni.
Pence’s organization, Advancing American Freedom, is said to be working to continue Trump administration policies that “created unprecedented prosperity at home and restored respect for America abroad,” while defending those policies “against liberal attacks and media distortion.” When Pence announced the group, he said it would “prevent the radical left from adopting its political agenda that would threaten America̵

“Promoting American Freedom plans to build on the success of the past four years by promoting traditional conservative values and promoting the Trump administration’s successful policies,” Pence said Wednesday.
“Conservatives will not stand still as the radical left and the new government try to threaten America’s status as the largest nation in the world with their destructive policies,” he said.
The organization’s advisory board includes a number of former Trump administration officials, including former Secretary of State David Bernhardt, former adviser to President Kellyanne Conway, former U.S. ambassador to the UN Kelly Craft, former ambassador to Holy See Callista Gingrich, former U.S. ambassador to Israel David Friedman, former U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, former director of the National Economic Council Larry Kudlow, former director of the Office of Management and Budget Russ Vought, as well as other prominent conservatives.

“Under the leadership of President Trump and Vice President Pence, the Americans experienced unprecedented prosperity. The policies that led to these achievements are now under attack from the radical left and the Biden administration, and the founding of our nation is under siege,” advancing U.S. Freedom Executive Director Paul Teller, a former chief of staff to Senator Ted Cruz, said. “Promoting American freedom will push back toward the left-wing agenda and advocate policies across the country that promote American freedoms, American strength and security, and American prosperity.”
The organization is expected to engage in political discussions and broadcast advocacy at both the state and federal levels by proposing conservative political solutions to the economic, foreign policy, and constitutional issues facing Americans today.

The organization is also expected to “oppose government expansion” under the Biden administration – which they say is pushing a “radical left-wing political agenda from Washington, DC, into communities across the country.”
Announcement from Pence comes as a number of top officials in Trump begin to start their own organizations.
On Wednesday, former senior adviser to President Trump, Stephen Miller, of America First Legal, launched a new conservative nonprofit organization “committed to upholding America First principles and fighting the radical and lawless agenda of the left.”
