Omar's tweet linked to a CNN report splitting story that Miller lobbied President Trump  Donald John TrumpSanders set for five-state Midwestern swing Tax refunds through March down billion from last year's tariffs on 'Mexican cars' are just taxes on American consumers MORE to withdraw his nomination of Ron Vitiello to lead Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE). Miller reportedly did not support the appointment because of Vitiello, who was named acting for ICE last year, wasn't completely in favor of shuttering the border.

Trump previously nominated Vitiello, but the White House on Friday sent paperwork to Congress withdrawing the nomination. Trump customs reporters that he was "going in a direction".
"We're going in a little different direction," Trump said Friday. "Ron's a good man, but we're going in a direction."
