Microsoft is currently looking at an authentication bug that affects its Office 365 systems.

In another post, the company said that users could not access Office.com, Outlook.com, Teams, Power Platform and Dynamics365.
“Existing customer sessions will not be affected, and any user logged in to an existing session will be able to continue their sessions,” Microsoft said.
On its Twitter status account, Microsoft said the root cause appeared to be a recent change and that it had decided to roll back the change.
“We have reversed the change, which is likely to be the source of the impact, and are monitoring the environment to validate that the service is recovering,” the company said before following up 14 minutes later, saying they could not see what they expected to see.
“We are not observing an increase in successful relationships after withdrawing a recent change. We are working to evaluate further mitigating solutions while investigating the root cause.”
