New England Patriots are heading for the Super Bowl, and the NFL has launched a survey … haven't we been here before?
Hold on now. This time it is not the patriots the league looks at.
According to the Boston Herald's Joe Dwinell, the league looks at a report on a laser pointer flashing in Tom Brady's face from the crowd at Arrowhead Stadium during Patriot's thrilling 37-31 overtime pussy against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Video of the laser surface on Twitter from William Joy, a reporter at Kansas City's local news-linked KMBC. The video showed that the laser flashed on Brady's helmet and face on several occasions, including this assignment to Sony Michel and this wasted to Chris Hogan .
After Spygate and Deflategate, it seems the patriots are on the other side of the laser gate.
Kansas City is known to have one of the most raucous crowds in the league, but it looks like taking things one step too far. We can only imagine the setback that would have followed if something similar happened to Patrick Mahomes in Foxboro.
Whatever it did, it did a little to distract Brady, who orchestrated the game winning drive in overtime to beat the Patriots' ticket to the Super Bowl LIII against the Los Angeles Rams on February 3 in Atlanta.
