Let’s get to Philadelphia Eagles links …
The Eagles ‘talk a lot’ about the exciting WR opportunity in the second round – NBCSP
And that’s exactly what Kyle Brandt reported Tuesday morning on NFL Networks Good Morning Football about the Eagles and a very exciting wide receiver outlook. Here’s what Brandt reported on LSU-wide Terrace Marshall Jr .: This guy is 6-3, he catches 10 touchdowns in seven games before choosing the rest of the season. You think they have all these guys, and they do. This is another, a great, explosive playmaker they can go after. He̵
Weapon X Mailbag: Which player would get the worst reaction at election 12? – BGN
See, I think if we go for the prototypical Howie Roseman move, it’s Miami’s Gregory Rousseau. I would not call “low production” a Howie characteristic. Think about how often we heard of Derek Barnett breaking Reggie White’s sack record in Tennessee despite his piss-poor athletic test on the combine. They drafted Donnel Pumphrey, a guy who ultimately never took a snap in the NFL, and he’s the all-time NCAA Division I FBS leader in rushing yards. Rousseau was out in the 2020 season, so his stock has refueled a bit, so this is where Howie’s “smartest guy in space” mentality emerges. “People forget all about the college season in 2019” is the new “other teams do not stay late to watch PAC-12 games.” He’s young for his class when he just turned 21 on April 5, just as Barnett was quite young for his draft class and is somehow still only 24 (he turns 25 on June 25). Going back to production, BALLEDTE the guy at The U as a redshirt beginner in 2019, a total of 19.5 tackles for losses and huge 15.5 sacks. It’s not a particularly strong EDGE group this year, but if we get a standard Howie pick of 1-12, I think it would be Rousseau, and I would be okay with that (assuming both Alabama receivers are gone ).

Historically, the Eagles’ quarterbacks have traded stunk with their new team – PhillyVoice
The Philadelphia Eagles swap their quarterbacks. A lot. But it was a while ago that they handed out an unhappy Carson Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts in February. The last traded Eagles quarterback was the one who made room for Wentz, Sam Bradford, AKA Sleeves, AKA Sammy Sleeves, AKA Sleevie Wonder, in 2016. Let’s take a trip down the memory lane and see how these quarterbacks fared with their new teams. Spoiler: Bad. That does not mean that the Eagles exactly got over all of their trading partners, as the players they worked out with the acquired choices in those trades did not exactly set the world on fire either.
Ripple Effect – Iggles Blitz
I do not think the Eagles will go OT, but we can not rule it out. Slater, Sewell and Vera-Tucker are all great views. However, the Eagles Olympics may actually be the team’s strength. With so many other gaps to fill, it would make more sense to go elsewhere. Lane Johnson is not getting younger, so you can always look at the election as if the future. I’m just thinking 12 will be something other than the Olympics. I wonder what will happen if Chase drops a few spots. How much do the Eagles like him? We know Howie is not afraid to act, up and down the draft. A less likely scenario would move back, but anything is possible. It would make sense if the Eagles goals were gone and they felt the best value was to move a few spots back.
Could these six teams still win the NFL offseason? Why packers, saints, eagles, rams, stallions and falcons have been silent; what’s next – ESPN +
Why? Clearly, the Eagles are eating their vegetables in 2021 in hopes of getting a cake next year. Trade with Wentz forced them to absorb a mammoth dead cap figure of $ 33.8 million; releasing Jackson and eventually adding Jeffery to the pile will push Philly north for $ 40 million in dead money this season. If it finds a trading partner for Ertz by June 1, the number could come close to $ 50 million. Next year, however, the Eagles are expected with nearly $ 32 million in cap space. They could have as many as three picks from the first round after trading with the Dolphins while getting a conditional pick back from the Colts. If Jalen Hurts plays well starting in 2021, fantastic! They have their quarterback in the future and all the first-rounders to be built around him in 2022. If he fights, they will pick high in the 2022 draft and have two star points to try to use if they need to trade further .
NFL Supplement Allows Eagles’ Alex Singleton to Almost Double 2020 Salary – But Cash is Deferred – Inquiry
In the final season of a $ 1.08 million two-year contract, Singleton was a bargain for Eagles general manager Howie Roseman. But the NFL has a formula that awards performance-based pay out of a pool that last year was $ 8.5 million per game. Team. The NFL Players Association released the 2020 numbers from this system on Tuesday, and Singleton was the Eagles’ top earner, earning an additional $ 464,296. However, there is a catch – as part of the COVID-19 agreements between the league and the association to reduce the annual coronavirus impact on salaries, the performance-based money will not be paid until 2024, the union estimates. So Singleton has something to look forward to.
Free agents signed by age – Over the Cap
The other teams that added older players to the list were the Rams (1 signing), the Eagles (4) and the Ravens (2).
Daniel Jeremiah mock draft 3.0: DeVonta Smith is still the Giants’ choice – Big Blue View
I will do my best to be brief with this because honestly Jeremiah does not break any new reason with this choice. I do not deny that Smith was amazingly productive for Alabama and is a good route runner, and that should allow him to be productive right away in the right situation. But I’m still skeptical of him for the Giants in particular and the NFL in general. Although I am not happy to offer professional comparisons for university prospects, they are sometimes an appropriate shorthand to describe features. And the player I see in DeVonta Smith is a young Golden Tate coming out of Notre Dame – had he been allowed to play in a modern Spread Coast offense with Tua Tagovailoa and Mac Jones instead of Jimmy Clausen.
KJ Wright, Richard Sherman among the best free agents the Cowboys could still pursue – Blogging The Boys
There has not been much to report on the Sherman market. He seems content to wait until a team and a deal come together to his liking. The odds may be long, but if the Cowboys could bring in a few veterans like Wright and Sherman, the perception of their free agency would change.
NFL: We monitor “deeply disturbing” allegations against Deshaun Watson – PFT
The first woman to sue Texan quarterback Deshaun Watson for sexual assault revealed her identity and spoke to the media at a news conference with attorney Tony Buzbee on Tuesday. Ashley Solis called herself “a survivor of assault and harassment” at the hands of Watson, who is facing 21 other civil lawsuits over similar behavior during massages with female masseurs. Watson is also the subject of a criminal investigation by the Houston Police Department. The NFL did not comment on the start of this investigation, but NFL Vice President of Communications Brian McCarthy issued a comment Tuesday.
NFL Draft rumor: Terry Fontenot wants to draft QB, Arthur Smith believes Matt Ryan has 2+ years left – The Falcoholic
The lead up to the 2021 NFL Draft is exciting and changing with opinions and reports. The rumor has been very busy too late and it looks like we are getting a new rumor a day. This is understandable as the Falcons have a new regime that not only has a former league MVP at the quarterback position, but also a top-5 pick in the upcoming draft. The latest rumor comes via ESPN Insider Chris Mortensen, who appeared on the network’s latest draft of the special. When it came to the election of the Falcons, Mortensen shared what he has heard that the Falcons’ plans might be at the end of the month. What I hear is that [Terry] Fontenot is more focused on quarterback, and Arthur Smith believes Matt Ryan has two or more years left. He has no real medical history, he has not missed many games in his career and there has not been a big drop in his game.
