New Lure modules and evolution added to Pokémon Go

A new update with Sinnoh region Pokémon has arrived at Pokémon Go adds Cherubi Gible Hippopotas Burmy and all the developed forms of these "mons ", including Garchomp .

With these new Pokémon added to the wild and in the egg, the Earth Power Earth Power has also been added to the game for Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Aerodactyl, Camerupt, Claydol and unspecified Sinnoh region Pokémon.

The news release also notes that special Lure Modules will be added to the game. Glacial Lure modules will bring water and ice types to Pokéstops, Mossy Lure modules will carry bug, grass and poison types, and magnetic trick modules pull in Pokémon in electro, steel and rock type. 1

If a special Lure module is placed, players will be able to develop their Pokémon after spinning the stop. Glaceon will use the Glacial Lure module, Leafeon will use the Mossy Lure module, and Probopass and Magnezone will use the magnetic trick module.

These lures can be obtained through the coin shop, but will also be rewards for completing new Special Research tasks coming later this year. Consider keeping off developing any of the special Pokémon that needs the lures. Former Special Research has involved developing Pokémon like Espeon, Umbreon and Pokémon using specific elements, and it is very likely that the next line of tasks will do the same.
