A new tease from Kingdom hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura has Nintendo fans on Switch and Switch unenthusiastic. Next month, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, a rhythm spin-off input, will be released on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite and will be the first Kingdom hearts games for Nintendo’s latest console. And while this has thrilled Nintendo fans, many are still sticking with the series’ main game. That said, it sounds like they might not have to endure much longer.
When we spoke to the Nintendo Dream, director and creator Nomura teased that Nintendo fans have something to look forward to. What this is, Nomura does not say, but it is Kingdom hearts related. More specifically, when Nintendo Dream raised the fact that Square Enix has not supported the Nintendo Switch when it comes to Kingdom hearts, Nomura acknowledged this before noticing that he thinks they will be able to deliver something [to Nintendo fans] in the not too distant future. “
As you can see, Nomura is not only proposing more Kingdom hearts coming to Switch and Switch Lite, but coming soon. Some have suggested that Nomura could talk about the above Melody of memory, but it seems unlikely. That said, this comes through translation, and context and meaning are often lost in translation, that is, taking this with a grain of salt.
That said, if this is one more tease Kingdom hearts comes to Switch and Switch Lite, this does not exactly leave the possibilities. If this is the case, it may be Kingdom Hearts 3 or older games in the series or both. It is also possible that it will be a brand new game.
Sorry for now, Kingdom hearts and Nintendo fans are left with nothing but speculation, but “not so distant future”
