NASA's Valentine's Day e-card is the closest way to say & # 39; I love you & # 39; – BGR

It's Valentine's Day, which means there is probably a large part of you who completely forgot to plan ahead and now have nothing to give your special person. Well, don't worry because NASA swooping in with some adorably geeky eCards that will surely make almost any smile.

There are a huge two dozen cards to choose from and you can customize each one with your own message. As you might expect, the maps are filled with cool sights from the room as well as some painfully cheesy greetings, but we didn't want it in any other way.

Most of the e-cards offered here are room themes somehow another with many of those showing heart-shaped features that NASA has seen on other planets. Heart-shaped dunes, rocks and even shadows thrown by NASA's curiosity rover on Mars. There are also a handful of other lovely pictures along with cheesy-but-charming taglines.

Never one to miss an opportunity to educate the public, each picture comes with an info section that reveals some additional details of what exactly is displayed on the image. When you click on the small icon in the corner of the image, you redirect you to a page where you can learn more about it.

Some of the cards are even supplied with science facts in front and centerpiece:

Once you have chosen your card, you can customize it with a special message and say what you want (within 500 characters) and send it to your special person. When you send the card, you also get a copy of the card sent to your email, where you can save it for posterity.

It's a lightning-fast and super nerdy way to spread some Valentine's Day, and maybe just win some brownie points with that particular person.
