Nancy Pelosis's literal flap-back on Trump is the most iconic moment of the night

President Donald Trump spoke for more than an hour and 20 minutes last night, but the moment that can best be remembered from his EU address had no word at all.

It was then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) Standing and applauding a line from Trump's speech in a way that seemed to be alive with sarcasm of many observers.

The moment came after an eye-catching call for unity from Trump, who seemed to be direct odds with his own long history of Twitter insults, especially on the heels of a pre-speech lunch where he allegedly insulted several political rivals.

"We must reject the policy of revenge, opposition, and retaliation and embrace the boundless potential of cooperation, compromise and common good," Trump said in his EU address.
