JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. Missouri unveiled its Phase 1B plans for the state’s COVID-19 vaccination plan today. We are gathering more and more information about this development story, but this is what Capitol Bureau reporter Emily Manley has learned.
There will be three levels in Phase 1B. First responders, emergency services and public health fall under level 1.
Level 2 begins receiving vaccines on Monday. People at this level include people at high risk who are 65 and older.
Level 3 will be residents who are considered critical infrastructure workers such as teachers, child care workers, government employees and more.
Officials with the Missouri vaccine distribution team say some of these vaccinations started today.
You can learn a lot more about the different levels on the Missouri COVID Vaccine website.
