After years of attempting to cast his iconic Disney character image, Miley Cyrus revealed on her Instagram Story, Thursday, that she had modeled her latest hairstyle on Hannah Montana.
Cyrus got her fans all excited about her new look as she sent teaser pictures of her hair transformation with foil that still covers her head. "Foil flip", she portrayed one of her posts, responded to her fans' excitement over hair change with another post and said, "Keep the yard."
The final disclosure came when she sent a shot of her long, rolling hair from the back dyed a vibrant blonde. "#NoFilter #NoWig ALL ME !!" She portrayed it ̵
To complete her appearance, she added blonde bangs as well as hair extensions. "It was so hard to go back and forth, I just decided I would be Hannah forever," said the singer in a video released on Twitter, showing her new look. "She got a lot of pressure this week. Thanks to me."
Needless to say, fans who grew up and looked at Cyrus as Montana could not keep their joy back after experiencing the hair transformation.
Sunday was the 13th anniversary of th of "Hanna Montana" pilot episode entitled "Lilly, Want to Know a Secret?". To celebrate it, the 26-year-old singer went to Twitter to share a picture of his younger self and noted the significant date of the series. According to Billboard the picture of Cyrus at the Nashville airport was preparing to fly to Los Angeles for "Hannah Montana" sets.
Same day Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley's father, who also played her on the screen dad in the show, shared a picture on social media with younger versions of cast members Emily Osment, Jason Earles and Mitchel Musso, to mark occasion.
