Microsoft Outlook can now be set as the default mail app on iOS 14



Apple released iOS 14 today, and Microsoft is one of the first to support the new default mail app option in Apple’s latest update. Apple is introducing the ability to switch standard apps for both mail and browser, and Outlook has been updated today to include support.

Browser and mail apps need to be updated to support the ability to change the default on iOS 14, and iPhone and iPad users need to dive into the main settings interface of the OS to change the default. For example, if you To set Outlook as the default, go to settings, scroll down to Outlook, tap, and then select the default mail app.

At the time of writing, Google has not yet updated its Gmail app so that it can be set by default on iOS 1
