Microsoft continues to roll out new Windows 10 20H1 test builder with regular new features. On July 1
Today's test building adds a new login setting for "Make your device passwordless" in Settings. By going to Settings> Accounts> Login Settings and Enabling the Password Solution, users will switch all Microsoft accounts on that Windows 10 device to use Windows Hello Face, Fingerprint or PIN. As Microsoft notes in its post on today's test building, this feature rolls out to a "small portion" of Insiders and will go for more within a week.
For passwordless, Microsoft has also provided a public preview of FIDO2 security keys support in Azure Active Directory, which means users can test the ability to deliver in scale FIDO2 security keys that approve a user on a Windows 10 Azure Active Directory connection device.
Today's building also adds a new option to create a quick event from the taskbar by clicking on the date in the taskbar. Users will see a calendar flight so they can choose their desired date and set a time and location faster in this way.
Microsoft is also expanding the availability of the phone's display feature in its multi-PC phone companion app. This feature will be available on Surface Laptop and Laptop 2; Surface Pro 4, 5 and 6; Surface Book and Surface Book 2 begins with Build 18936.
The list of other updates and known issues for 18936 is in today's blog post.
