Thirteen people were killed and 70 injured when an overpass with Mexico City subway cars partially collapsed on a road Monday night, authorities said.

A video on the local channel Milenio TV shows the transition collapsing on top of cars on a road below.

The accident left a preliminary toll of 13 dead and 70 injured, according to the city’s comprehensive agency for risk management and civil protection.

Mexico City Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum traveled to the crash site and said on Twitter that “firefighters, public security personnel are working. Various hospitals are participating. We will provide more information shortly.”

Other videos on TV stations and social media showed emergency medical crews and firefighters battling through the wreck looking for survivors.
